Much of our time lately has been spent on this mixed use building at the corner of Edmunds and Fauntleroy Way SW. It breaks new ground for us in several ways, being the largest, tallest, and most complex building we have designed so far: 53 residential units and 6 street-front commercial spaces.

Last month we presented to the Seattle’s Design Review Board and received approval subject to a couple of material and color changes. We are proud to have gotten through the process in the minimum number of public meetings possible (2) – thanks to hard work by all parties, especially my collaborators John and Cady at WC Studio. There’s much more work ahead, including final documentation for the Master Use Permit, and another push for the Building Permit – just two months away.
