This project was conceived as a minor remodel and addition but quickly grew to a major reconstruction as the design potential became clear. The site is a magnificently serene location surrounded by water at the end of a private island in the San Juan's. An understated design approach was used with classic eave detailing and subdued, natural colors and materials.
