This mixed use building at the corner of Edmunds and Fauntleroy Way SW has 53 residential units and 6 street-front commercial spaces. Most of the apartments are designed as Small Efficiency Dwelling Units (SEDU's) to address housing needs of the millennial population. Due to its location near the RapidRide bus, no on-site parking was required under Seattle's current parking rules. This allowed a much higher unit count and an opportunity to provide over 200 LF of retail - transforming and enhancing the pedestrian qualities of this fast developing neighborhood. We gained approval from Seattle’s Design Review Board in the minimum number of public meetings possible (2) – thanks to hard work by all parties. Ground was broken in Oct 2016 with construction expected to last a year and a half.
